Sweet Guys began as a dream to create a sugar arts business that would
encourage the customer to indulge in his/her favorite sweet treat. Co-owners
Peter Gibson & Paul Caswell have combined their creative talents,
high-
performing
work ethics, and years of business experience to provide central
Floridians and beyond with high-quality, affordable treats.
Born in the western-Chicago suburb of Schaumburg,
Illinois, Peter relocated to central Florida to work for
the Walt Disney World Resort.  He has experience in
merchandise, corporate communications, event
planning, labor, scheduling, and operations.  He is
currently assigned to the Main Street Operations
Team at the Magic Kingdom
where he oversees cast
at the turnstiles, the train that circles the park, and
coordinates crowd control during the world-famous
parades down Main Street USA
.

In his spare time, Peter likes to read, travel, work on
the house, watch movies, play games, and work with
and create new ways to use chocolate.

Peter is a proud member of the International Cake
Exploration Societe', Florida ICES, and the
Confectionery Artists' Guild of Orlando.  Peter
most
recently attended the ICES 2009 Convention in St.
Charles, IL where he learned new techniques from
sugar-art greats including Susan Carberry, Autumn
Carpenter, Elaine Gonzalez, and Zane Beg.  
Hailing from Coeyman Hollow, New York in southern Albany
County, Paul is a
n instructional support teacher for the
Orange County Public Schools
at Ocoee Elementary.  
H
olding six certifications in New York & Florida, along with
teaching just about every grade pre-K through 12, Paul
is
also an instrumentalist, a
former volunteer paramedic, and
a former owner of a tax preparation
/bookkeeping service.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys reading, watching movies,
and learning all he can about the sugar arts.  He gets
excited about trying new methods and creating numerous
renditions from one idea.

Geraldine Randlesome, Ruth Rickey, Kathy Scott, & Jan
Wolfe.  Previously, Paul has taken classes from Christina
Banner, Autumn Carpenter, & Kerry Vincent.
